Hi
Your games caught my attention at rpg.net. I regularly write reviews for rpg.net, but I am a professional author/journalist who handles, amongst other things, games of all kinds. My main interest is RPG’s, but I also review card games, board games, miniature games, war games and computer games. Most of my reviews are in Dutch, but oftentimes I make sure English versions are available at rpg.net and RazorReel.be. Because most reviews are published in several different places, I read far more readers than most any other reviewer. I’ve included our most recent update underneath.
I would love to get review copies of your products. Reviews almost always appear in the Officieel PlayStation Magazine (see below), amongst other publications. We usually ask for physical copies as they are far easier to read and review (we can take them with us if we’re on a trip, for example), but we do review PDF’s if certain products are available electronically only.
You can find our shipping address below. Feel free to google my name, “Dirk Vandereyken”!
Greetz,
Dirk

Subject: Your games reviewed!
Hi everyone!
It has been a few months since our last news update, but not a single day has passed without us reviewing your products! It only stands to logic that there’s a lot of stuff has happened and it’s all good!
First of all, all of the books, miniatures, wargames, terrain, dice, and other gaming aids you send us are still reviewed in or on:
HET OFFICIEEL PLAYSTATION MAGAZINE: Monthly short reviews & news in the one and only Dutch-language Official PlayStation Magazine, which has a 30,000 print run in Belgium and a 20,000 print run in the Netherlands. For those of you wondering how well-read our tabletop game page is: VERY WELL!!! We have to answer to an editor on this one and we started the tabletop page as an experiment. After about 3 months, the crew at the OPM saw that the page was so well-read that it has continued to be a monthly page for more than a year now!
CERBERUS TOO (www.cerberus2.net): Our magazine is still available as a free PDF as well as a print magazine for subscribers. However, since our number of subscribers has increased significantly, we haven’t uploaded new PDF’s for quite a while now to make our magazine more attractive to the fans who actually pay money for it. It’s become more of a compilation ‘zine anyway since ALL of the reviews first appear on other sites, but it’s gotten quite a cult following, numbering in the thousands! However, we’re gonna upload some more recent issues soon!
CERBERUS ONLINE (www.fantastiek.com): Has just been remodelled a few months ago, but will still carry ALL of our larger reviews, as well as…
CROOZE FM (www.crooze.fm): One of the biggest online lifestyle guides in Belgium, but also one that features our movie/music/game reviews!
AZTEK TV (www.aztek-tv.com): Specialized in SF, fantasy and horror
RAZORREEL (www.razorreel.be): Your reviews in English in the Arcade section
RPG.NET (www.rpg.net): You all know this one.
You will find some older stats as attachments, be aware that all of these sites are drawing in even more visitors now!
THERE IS MORE GREAT NEWS!!!
As some of you may have already noticed, my new E-mail address is dirk@mediaforta.be. Both dirk@badass.be and HulpverleningExtra@telenet.be are still used, but I have now also started to work for MEDIAFORTA. I have a 6-month contract with these guys, who have promised me they want me to stay aboard for years after the first 6 months. Mediaforta is a company other magazines, sites and newspaper outsource their articles and reviews to. Some customers include Zita, Mobistar (100,000 unique visitors A DAY!), Cult of Cool magazine, etc. Also, I work directly for Move-On magazine, the luxury magazine of Move-On TV. I will mainly handle stuff like gastronomy, extreme sports, gossip, movies, etc., but from time to time (at least once every 6 weeks) there will be room for GAMES! This is a unique forum to get your reviews published in and I promise to do my best to raise awareness of your games even more in the future.
AND MORE!
I will be working together with the guys at GameQuarter (www.gamequarter.be), one of the largest Belgian (computer and video) game sites, to get tabletop game reviews published as soon as their NEW, UPDATED site launches. It will be called GameQuarter 4 and it’ll launch before the end of 2008. Also, 2 new sites will be launched at about the same time, one handling music and one handling… other subjects. All of your games will be reviewed on one of these new sites as well!
AND…
I am still talking to the guys at Mellón magazine and Spel! to get reviews in those print magazines.
SINCE MEDIAFORTA IS HANDLING ALL KINDS OF MAGAZINES
Please add the following address to your contacts for any and all press releases: info@mediaforta.be. I will be doing all of their game reviews, but be advised that, for now, those will be limited in number.
FOR THOSE WHO NEED PROMOTION IN THE BENELUX OR EUROPE: Please don’t forget we have our own PR-agency, Badass PR (www.badasspr.com, http://www.badasspr.be or http://www.badass.be). We will gladly handle the PR for any and all of your games, but please be advised that we will not review any games we handle PR duties for. That would be unethical as journalists!
MANY OF YOU DO FORGET TO SEND US MONTHLY REVIEW STUFF, and since we have more than a hundred companies on our list, it would be helpful if you we have a continued presence on your press lists! Please continue to send us review copies as we can’t exist without your continued support.
MY LAST NOVEL is still available at http://www.fateworsethandeath.com or http://www.vajraenterprises.com. It seems my new novella will be published before 2009 at a different publisher. It will be a fantasy novella with a major twist, so no quest against evil or finding that one magical artefact this time… I am still available as a freelance author, though.
I have promised you all a few years back that I will do my best to raise awareness of RPG’s, war games, card games and board games. I think we are doing a pretty good job, seeing as we started out with only Cerberus Online and Cerberus Too and our reviews now appear in so many different places and are read by so many people now. It seems we will be reaching even more people in the near future. If you have sent us anything you haven’t seen a review of yet, please let us know, so that I can send you a PDF or a scan of the review, as we may forget to do that from time to time. That kind of oversight is normal, considering the amount of reviews we handle.
Also, I WILL be at GenCon 2008 to talk to all of you again! It was fun seeing you in 2007 and I’d like to thank the HERO Games people again for taking me in and particularly Jason and Tina for inviting me to their place in the middle of nowhere, near Reno, where I stayed for 4 fun-filled days!
Our address hasn’t changed, so please send all review products to:
